Coming out of hibernation

Ako’s friend Kyoe hosted an entertaining evening this week with a outstanding spread of food, a fun time was had by all even if I did lose badly at chess (in my defense I haven’t played for years).
I managed to make it back to the gym on Friday which was great, touch wood the knee, whilst a little stiff and sore, hasn’t adversely responded so I shall try and get into a routine of going and training.
Tomorrow marks the end of my festive holidays. Whilst I have enjoyed the slack time over the holidays I’ve been a little dissapointed that I have not achieved as much as I would have liked to. To some extent I blame the lack of sunlight and coldness coupled with a lack of structure leading to me lazing at home all day.
All this changes on Monday as I have to get up at 6am to go out for a job about 90mins away. I probably won’t end up getting back into home until at least 6 o’clock and I might even go straight to training instead. Welcome back to reality…
